We began with a passion for gardening and a love of growing things from seed.
Starting with growing food to share with family and friends, FOG Farms finally became a business in May of 2020 as Covid made finding work even more difficult in an already struggling Alberta economy.
Wanting to extend our short growing season, we sourced seeds and soil from organic Canadian companies and started testing and learning how to grow indoors.
Through word of mouth, it didn’t take long before we signed our first home subscriber and restaurant, and we’ve been growing ever since!
We take pride in the friendships that we've developed over the last 2 years.
We strive to be as environmentally responsible as possible and do our best to source locally whenever we can.
Our growing trays are sterilized and re-used and all soil and vegetable waste are composted either in our yard or commercially.
We love what we do and look forward to growing new friendships and bringing healthy food to Calgary and the surrounding areas for years to come.
