This White Phlox is a wonderfully fragrant, tall garden phlox with large, dense, terminal pyramidal panicles of pure white flowers on sturdy, upright stems. Long blooming - from mid to late summer, and can extend into early fall. Phlox Flowers are beautifully set off by deep green, narrow, pointed, lance-shaped leaves (to 5 inches long).
Plant in full sun to partial shade. Intolerant of drought and needs to be watered in dry spells. Appreciates a summer mulch which helps keep the root zone cool. Phlox paniculata 'David' is the most mildew resistant white phlox variety, but still appreciates good air flow, and a good cut back / clean up in preparation for winter.
