This plant is commonly known as the leopard plant or golden groundsel. It is known for its striking, large, dark purple-bronze foliage and tall spikes of golden-orange flowers. Prefers consistently moist, compost rich soil and light shade. Can be divided in spring as needed. Spent foliage can be removed as needed and should be cut back in fall to avoid mushy foliage.
